This live webinar will be led by Dr. Jonathan Grischkan and Dr. Peter
Mustillo, both from Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

The ENT portion of the discussion will focus on common
otolaryngologic findings in 22q11.2 DS including airway problems,
hearing loss, laryngeal webs, sleep disordered breathing, and upper
airway obstruction.

The immunology discussion will explain how 22q11.2 DS can affect
the immune system, with focus on an important organ called the
thymus. Included will be how patients are evaluated to determine
if an increased frequency of infections is related to an immune

by both experts followed by time for questions from the live web
audience.
